Delete from the app
- Open Hako and go to the Me tab.
- Tap Settings.
- Under Danger zone, tap Delete account and confirm.
If you want to keep a record of your study sessions, export them first in Me → Settings → Sync & data.
What gets deleted
Deletion is immediate and can’t be undone. It removes:
- your account, email address, username, and avatar
- your subjects, tasks, countdowns, study sessions, statistics, streaks, achievements, and reflection notes
- your friends, friend requests, and study invitations
- your room memberships, and the messages and reactions you sent in rooms
- rooms you own, including their chat for all members
- reports you made and reports about you, and your blocks
- your notification settings and device push tokens
Copies in our providers’ routine backups are removed as those backups expire.
Can’t access the app?
Email privacy@hakostudy.com from the address linked to your account. If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, tell us your Hako username instead. We may need to confirm the account is yours before deleting it.
Subscriptions
Deleting your Hako account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it in your Apple Account settings under Subscriptions.
